Love sleeps.

I loved you as no other…
Has loved or could love again.
You were the smile in a Childs eyes,
The harvest of winters rain.
You were more than I could have dreamed of…
And I have dreamed a thousand dreams.
You were the sparkle in the darkest night,
The light in rainbows beam.
If only you could have loved me…
As you loved me one warm night.
I would have been your knight in Armour
Your love would be my might.
I could have conquered every mountain…
… Swam the oceans deep,
But your love was for another
Now my heart is where love sleeps.
