Yesterday is gone forever
Today . . . .Is a brand new start
Another chapter, in your book of life
Where you play the part
Make it a day, well to remember
One of cheer, love and hope
Each memory, a burning ember
In your story of life . . . As you cope
When your book comes to and end
And you've given it your very best
You'll not be sorry for yesterdays
Its in peace and contentment
. . . You will surely rest!
