Tear Drops

I know what makes me feel this way, so
Sad, empty and all alone again today,
as my heart aches for the times of
yesterday.

Where has the sun gone, it rains all
the time, in my life there’s no longer
rhythm or rhyme.

Oh! How on the wings of yesterday
my life line seemed so bright, so full
of discovery, so full of love and delight.

Now on the winds of time,
forever sail my years of sorrow
and decline.

Yesterdays long gone, tomorrow
is forlorn at best, today is all that’s
left and the tears from my aching
heart shall never rest…

Through all these years with longing
wonder and out of my loving sight

Oh! My Darling…
I will always love you,
where ever you
are tonight!

And the tear drops keeps falling.
