Taking God for GrantedMathew 6:25 & 26 Moot not for your life what to eat or drink, Nor for your body what others may think; Life is more than just meat and potatoes, Or clothing covering from head to toes; The birds in the air not sow neither reap, But God provides food and time to sleep; We are higher than them in the life chain, Our Heaven Father renders again and again. We really have it good in this day and age, A plentiful milk and honey on life's stage; We have plenty to eat and clothes to wear, Salary and wages are really more than fair; Living in a house that is cozy and quaint, Still we squawk about life with a complaint; Think about how you have truly been blest, Unlike some African nations and the rest; We are very fortunate and for God to thank, Providing the means that we ate and drank; Too much we take the Lord just for granted, That he would bless everything we planted.
