Dark Moon

Dark moon again tonight,
no light, no hope in sight.

The pain of loneliness,
despair and desperation
my heart can hardly bear.

Life must gone on,
but my tears continue
to fall each and everyday.

I don’t know how much longer,
I can live my life this way.

Where has the sunshine gone?
How much longer must the rain go on?

As the clock ticks on, faster
and faster, the loneliness, and
anguish is driving me insane.

What’s left?
I’ll tell you what’s left…
Nothing but my lonely
soul and that dark moon
roaming through despair and doom.
