When God Says It's Time

To all, the sand in the hour
glass someday must fall.
Death due us part, we all
knew this actuality from
the start.

As we weave our way through life,
keep in mind, what we  say, what
we do, and how we act is who
we are, not the gold or the
expensive car.

These are the things that really count,
not money, not fame just honesty in
everyday dealings with others, no
matter how large or small, no
matter the name of the game.

Death come to us all, in different
ways and at a different time, but
no matter when, how or
who we are, life goes on
like a poetic rhyme.

We’ve all been here from
the creation of mankind,
and we shall each depart
when God says it's time.
