Keeping FaithI Corinthians 2:1-5 I come not as a good speaker or of wisdom, Declaring unto you the Heavenly Kingdom; Not knowing your thoughts of Jesus Christ, Why He was not saved, rather sacrificed; Being with you in weakness and in fear, In much trembling unknown He was near; I preach not in words of wisdom by man, Rather the power of the Spirit only can; In the wisdom of men faith never be cast, Only in the Power of God to make it last. We are short tempered loosing interest, Attention deficit, road rage as a motorist, Emotions alter in wisdom and judgment, For leading you to an internal torment; Want to pursue God as your mind says no, Along with temptation and lust that flow; But faith in God runs narrow and straight, Never vary to stray from or to deviate; For faith in God will not steer you wrong, As you persevere while growing strong.
