Procrastination
Tomorrow, I’ll start eating right,
exercising and taking my
medication on time.
Tomorrow, I’ll write those letters to
family and friends and poems that
hopefully will rhyme.
Tomorrow, I’ll take my grandson fishing,
for all this time he’s been wishing.
Tomorrow, I’ll work on my wife’s sewing machine,
or fix that torn window screen.
Tomorrow, I’ll cut the grass or fix that
broken glass.
Tomorrow, I'll wash the car and fix that flat tire.
Tomorrow, I’ll carry out the trash and do it in a flash.
NO,no... I'm not procrastinating...
Today, I’m busy resting up for all
that work I have to do tomorrow!
