Paving the Way

John 7:29-35

Jesus the Lamb of God who has taken away,
All sin of the world if you repent today;
Jesus Christ who has come just as a man,
A manifest to Israel as part of God's plan;
For baptizing with water to show your love,
He baptizes in the Spirit a descending dove;
For Jesus Christ is the one true Son of God,
As He walked on earth amongst the flawed;
He'll come to judge the living and the dead,
Reclaiming the earth to be His homestead.
The only begotten Son of God is Christ,
As the Lamb of God for to be sacrificed;
Sent to take away sin and restore souls,
And by no means to win popularity polls;
While John was doing his baptismal thing,
Preparing the people to meet their king;
Jesus was also preparing on His own,
Take His rightful place on His throne;
Paving the way for us to enter within,
After confession being free from sin.
