Blade Of Grass

How could I have ever known
That this tiny little wisp of green
Could remind me of my thoughts of him
Convince me to lose the day and dream

You're so dainty, sweet blade of grass
As you are wrapped now around my finger
Visions of a ring and a lace trimmed dress
Those are the thoughts that seem to linger

Still, I know you wouldn't mind my sighs
As I am lost somewhere in my own world
Dreaming of him and the future to come
As around my finger you are curled
