A Time Long Past

Summer time,
on a grassy knoll
overlooking the Seine.

Under stars bright,
wine and roses
love through out
a warm summer
night.

Hair of raven black,
eyes of emerald green,
lips sweeter than cherry
wine.

Memories of a lover,
at a time and place
long past, but ones
that are golden and
will forever last.
