Seeking to GlorifyI Corinthians 10:30-33 If by the grace of God am to be a partaker, Why would one speak evil like a wiseacre? While trying to give thanks unto the Lord, For all of the blessings He has outpoured; Whether you eat or drink whatever you do, Do in the glory of God to His Word be true; Do not offend to either the Jew nor Gentile, Nor the church of God ever try to defile; In pleasing all men without seeking profit, Rather a profit in them saved by the Spirit. My poetry is not of my benefit but of yours, With hopes that the words a soul restores; Some may try to ridicule and try to mock, Thinking that this Christian stuff is crock; Being full of depression and evil thought, Unknowing that Satan is causing onslaught; Persistent as I may so that I will not quit, Helping others to accept the Holy Spirit; In all that I do in seeking to glorify God, Showing benefits for to honor and laud.
