Strengthening Your FaithJames 1:2-7 Counting as joy when you fall in temptation, Merely testing of your faith in a vexation; Let patience work for you not for to allow, Your emotions to control of all you endow; You may increase perfection with no desire, Rather than earthly it's Heaven you acquire; If lacking wisdom give God your request, Gracefully giving liberally to do your best; If you waver as a wave you could be lost, As the wave driven by wind and is tossed; For let not anyone think they will receive, Anything of the Lord unless they believe. Temptation can play tricks on your mind, Deceiving you into treachery being unkind; As patience keeps your emotions checked, Curbing your earthly desires from interject; In feeling tempted pray to God with a plea, Asking Him for wisdom in giving a decree; Your faith will strengthen for to be bold, Rationally reason temptation to withhold.
