The Hangin' Tree

Note: No critics please! I know this is a lump of coal… but …Hey! They all can’t be gems!…smile.

The hanging tree,
Don’t get caught
hanging under here.

You’ll feel like you're
chokin ’…
Your time card will be
figured in nano seconds.

You’re last wish…will
be you’re last wish!
A stitch in time…
here will not save you
a dime.

A rubber neck won’t
stretch near far enough!
This ring around the collar
won’t wash off.

The old adage…
"Don’t hang around too long,"
has new meaning!
An under statement:
"Hang on, here comes
the hard part!"

Hang’em high! Hang’em low,
a rope around the larynx
you’re sure to know!

Dancing from
a short rope,
kills all hope!

Hang in there…
this nonsense
poem is about
to become a
hanging offense!
