True Wealth from SalvationLuke 9:22-25 The Son of man must suffer many things, Before hope of the redemption He brings; If any man who comes after Jesus Christ, Deny himself and follow the one sacrificed; Let him take up his own cross everyday, And unto the Heavenly Father let him pray; For whoever saves his life will truly lose, Who loses his life the Father won't refuse; Losing the life for Christ in His namesake, Becoming Heavenly bound as they awake; So what does one profit the world he gains? As a right to his own soul he not retains. All some people look for is glory and fame, Because of their ego wanting the acclaim; They feel as to be hot shots king of earth, Looking for the wealth and all of its worth; Little do they think in reaching their goal, That Satan invaded taking over their soul; True wealth and joy comes from salvation, By accepting Christ as Savior in jubilation.
