I awoke one morning
To find you gone
What did I do
That went so wrong

You took a vow
We'd never part
Yet you left
Breaking my heart

Never a note
Expressing your sorrow
Was to you
Just another tomorrow

Was only yesterday
Flowers I bought
A token of my love
Or so I thought

One day you'll look back
In coming years
Remembering your loss
Then comes the tears

Happiness I'll find
With someone new
Sadly you'll realize
It could have been you.
