Godly TrustJeremiah 17:5-8 The man that trusts in other men be cursed, It's lusts of this world that he'll thirst; Desires of his heart departs from the Lord, As Holy Scriptures will be totally ignored; He shall be like a bush growing in a desert, Unable to see when good came in its effort; He is to dwell in parched and barren places, An uninhabited land not seeing any faces; But blessed is who trusts in our Lord God, With hope in God as you to honor and laud; He will be as a tree planted by the rivers, Spreading his roots as our God delivers. God will provide who will put their trust, And stop their desires of an earthly lust; For He will not provide if you will shun, When your quest for greed has begun; And as despair puts your life in awry, All alone you will be left high and dry; Still there is hope if you are in need, When in God we trust you will succeed.
