Workplace Chatter

(one for giggles)

It's something I call cheap talk
Everyone needs to find someone to listen
It's all about he says and she says
And all the people they're kissin'

Huddled like a gaggle of geese
With their finger pointing jargon
About who's being true, not me, not you
Oops are we late for our next liason?

Be it a friend or be it a foe
They'll set the rumor mill back on track
Talking to you about this one and that one
Only to turn around and stab you in the back

Now I don't mind if you talk about me
In your all knowing and whispered drone
Because the way I look at it is like this
At least you'd be leaving someone else alone
