HOME OF THE FLOWING PEN

Red rose petals and babies breath
Pressed in the pages of a book
Her heart needs to hold him close
So she decides to take a look

The petals are still as soft
Like her love is for him
She can still smell their scent
As she thinks of him again

Such a small fragile beauty
But symbolic of something grand
A love that knows of no boundaries
That most would not understand

Tears of longing overtake her
Splashing once more on the page
Closing the cover of the book
Knowing that their love still remains
