A Humble Respect

I Peter 5:5-9

Let the younger guys be ruled by the elders,
Humbly respect as you serve your fathers;
Do not be conceited just throw away pride,
For God hates it when hidden deep inside;
Your boastful pride can make you stumble,
So give grace to others remaining humble;
Especially humble yourself in front of God,
So He may exalt while you honor and laud;
Casting to Him all of your burdens to share,
He will remove them to show He does care;
But be vigilant for Satan waits to devour,
Just keep stedfast in your faith every hour.
Never attempt to rebel against your parents,
Give them respect and honor as it warrants;
More important to remain humble everyday,
Do not mess with pride at all throw it away;
Just be ever watchful since Satan does lurk,
Waiting for chance to make you go berserk;
Always remember making God your priority,
He will return to you blessings abundantly.
