The Promises of GodActs 13:32-36 What God promised our fathers is fulfilled, By sending Jesus Christ hope be instilled; Stated in Psalm Christ as the Son of God, A day had been given to honor and laud; As Christ being raised up from the dead, Never again resort to destruction instead; God gives the holy and mercies of David, To everyone that believes and are avid; Not letting your Holy One see destruction, Requiring you to increase Holy instruction; For David did the work of God in his time, His body into destruction before its prime; But lifted up by God destruction not seen, No promise from God what may have been. God made promise to us within His Word, No more destruction to be seen or heard; Every promise ever made He has kept, Unfortunately for us many do not accept; The Word was made flesh and manifest, The promises of God that many detest.
