True Story

On July the 20th, 1969, my wife, eleven year old son and my four year old daughter were on an aircraft flight to Paris to visit relatives, when the pilot came on the intercom and in a jubilant voice announced;
"We have just landed on the moon!" (Meaning; The Apollo #11 Space craft)
My four year old daughter Monique immediately began crying and screaming; "I don't want to be on the moon! I want to go home to my Daddy!" It took her mother and brother several minutes to calm her down and convince her that she was not on the moon. We still kid her about the incident to this day.

Oh! How time does fly!
