Remember Who You Are
Swirling in the wind,
my soul never to bend.
I am, who I am and
that no one can deny,
and I shall be me until
I die.
You can change my mind
about trifle subjects in time,
but you will never alter the
principles within me which
forever shall rhyme.
I know the difference between
right and wrong. I know why
people can’t get along.
Compromise breeds mistrust and
that’s the beginning of the end.
So remember who you are and
what you believe in, and that
one principle will get you
to that promised star.
Remember you are…
who you are!
