It's true that there have been many priests,
Not able to go on when becoming deceased;
But this priest as His life goes on forever,
That He is fully able to be Lord and Savior;
Go to God through Him each time in prayer,
Right for us through a High Priest to share;
One that is Holy without evil done no wrong,
Have no part with sinners Spirit so strong;
Higher than Heaven no need for to sacrifice,
Offering of Himself once no need be twice;
The law makes high priests of men as weak,
But the Word of the Oath for a Son to seek.
Jesus Christ is High Priest for our church,
He is the one and only to begin our search;
For everything to God must go through Him,
No matter good or bad or something grim;
Nothing goes to the Father before the Son,
Requests can not be handled on this is done;
So talking to our Heavenly Father every day,
End by saying In the name of Jesus I pray.
