Setting Priorities

Colossians 3:1-5

If you are risen in Christ seek from above,
Pay attention to Heaven to God and His love;
As where Christ is seated on His right hand,
And having a host of angels at His command;
Keep your mind on Heaven rather than earth,
As your life in Heaven has much more worth;
As Christ in God you do have a secret life,
That eases your burdens of toils and strife;
In all His Glory you will be seen with Him,
Be accompanied by Cherubim and Seraphim;
Have your body on the earth be put to death,
So earthly pleasures take their last breath.
You know what type of earthly pleasures,
The type that you lust in sinful treasures;
Filled of passion of flesh and evil desires,
As well as the false idols that one admires;
Take a look at your life and your priority,
Allow God take your life be the authority;
Items on earth will no longer be in control,
As you allow God to safeguard your soul.
