My best friend, his name was Bear
He was my dog, he was always there
I loved him very much so good was he
So much happiness he gave to me
Always he waited thoughout the day
Waiting for me so we could play
One day as I lifted him he gave out a yelp
It was then I realized he needed my help
So hard it was letting him go
For he had more pain than I was to know
The time had come he had to leave
How sad I was, I couldn't believe
For in my heart I heard him say
Don't feel bad that I'm going away
One day together we shall be
Just like always, you an me
Please don't cry and don't feel sad
For your the only friend I ever had.
This was written for a friend
that lost her dog named Bear.
