Testing TemptationsI Corinthians 10:8-13 Let us not be tempted to the fleshy desire, As some whom hearts melt as they admire; Never let's try to put our Lord to the test, As some died from snake bites to the chest; And do not say evil things against the Lord, As some other done and died by the sword; These are only as examples for preaching, And put down in writing for our teaching; To him that feels safe behind a sturdy wall, Let him go and run away in fear of a fall; You have been tested as common to man, A true God with no test not in His plan; But He makes tests that have an escape, So that you shall be able to find a gape. Everyone on earth experiences temptation, In one form or another an evil invitation; But never think of it as a test from God, For He knows that we are weak and flawed; For any testing from God there is no doubt, If God tests He will show you the way out.
