The Lord, Our God

Isaiah 45:2-7

God will go ahead to smooth it out straight,
Breaking the pieces of brass from the gate;
He will give you the treasures of darkness,
Wealth of secret places in the wilderness;
Rest assured the Lord gave you your name,
Giving a name of honor that has no shame;
Even though having no knowledge thereof,
The one and only Lord God and His love;
He will make you ready prepare for war,
Even though with no knowledge for sure;
To see from the east and from the west,
That there is no other God made manifest;
He is the giver of light and maker of dark,
Send blessings, pain and lightning to spark.
He can start a virus and also give the cure,
Our Lord God does this and so much more;
He can cause you wrong when you disobey,
And make it good as you repent and pray;
So be not dismayed for God will take care,
His wings of love shield you from despair.
