With Me

How could you leave me
Without saying good-bye
How could you fade away
And just leave me to cry

I know it's selfish to wish you back
For your own life it wouldn't be fair
Somedays it's hard to beleive your gone
But I know somehow you always near

I remember seeing your face, the last time
How you looked so helpless, laying in bed
I reach out to touch your hand
Knowing tomorrow you'll be dead

Everytime you had a drink
Whenever the glass touched your lips
Did you realize what would happen
Did you know your life would slip

When you were burried
It was a sad sight to see
I watched your casket lower in the ground
But I knew somehow you'd be with me
