The Melody Of You
You were like a beautiful song
that lingered
On and on
Yet when I turned
You were gone
Such sad music
So soft in my mind
Somehow your love
I had to find
This song
I did not choose
Yet the melody of you
I cannot lose
Without your love
This song shall stay
Always It's with me
Throughout the day
Should there be no end
To this sad song
I'll know in my heart
Never did I belong.
