The Narrow Door

Luke 13:24-30

Strive in entering through the narrow door,
Many will try, but will be unable to endure;
For once the master gets up and closes it,
If still being outside you may have forfeit;
You can try to ask the Lord to let you in,
But replying not knowing where you been;
Then say that you ate and drank with Him,
After teaching on the street near the gym;
He will say that you are still an unknown,
So just to go away and leave Him alone;
There will be much sorrow as you weep,
Seeing Abraham in Heaven tending sheep;
The saints inside while you are locked out,
Because you spread your seeds of doubt;
From all over as they enter being steadfast,
The last are first and the first to be last.
An open door means you have an invitation,
That is only if you have a good reputation;
All depends on your trust and confessions,
To rid yourself of all your transgressions.
