The Law of Love

John 15:9-15

Even as the Father gave Christ His love,
So has Christ filtered it to you from above;
Be so ever in His love by keeping His laws,
Be ever in His love forgiven of your flaws;
In saying so that Christ to have joy in you,
And your joy remaining complete and true;
His law is for you to love one for another,
As He loves us all like sister and brother;
There is no greater love has any than this.
That a man gives up His life for one kiss;
He is our friend and told us where to go,
No longer are we servants as to we know.
We are His friends to us that He has told,
He has given us the knowledge for to hold;
Not be viewed as the master or the slave,
Rather our Brother raised from the grave;
Christ cares and took us out of the dark,
For the eternal journey that we embark;
It is the love that we share in Him as one,
Making us family through the Heavenly Son.
