Sacrificing PrideMicah 6:6-8 With what shall I to come before the Lord, With bent head to be honored and adored; To bring a burnt offering or year old calf? Should I be solemn or be happy and laugh? Am I to give my first born for doing wrong? Because of sinful temptation was so strong; But He has already shown you what is good, As is desired by the Lord doing as should; With loving mercy and doing what is right, Walking humbly where He shines His light. No longer is there any sacrificial offering, From being enticed into a sinful faltering; For the Lord God takes pity on your soul, And is ready and willing for to console; Remember just what you were taught, All you have to do is admit your fault; Forgiveness starts you off for to amend, Turning your life around that you intend; And just rid yourself of all of your pride, So God has room in your heart to abide.
