Seeking the GoodnessAmos 5:13-15 The wise will keep silent in a time of evil, To patiently wait for the Messiah's arrival; Seek good rather than evil so you may live, For The Lord God is so gracious to forgive; The God of the armies is here as you say, Love good and do not become evil's prey; Allowing right be done in a public place, That God will show His mercy and grace. Establish judgment at the righteous gate, Show compassion to good and to evil hate; Because of what God has spoken to you, Shall always be remaining consistently true; All you have in keeping is faith to believe, Not allowing any evil attempting to deceive; For God is ever with you inside He abides, To show you His will and way as He guides; For maintaining righteousness deep within, Will be keeping you free of all earthly sin; Seek the goodness so that life may be yours, Ensuring you a key to open Heaven's doors.
