Love has gone

Love has gone.

How you kissed me…
How I kissed you…
How we warmed each other's hearts.
How you touched me…
When I touched you…
How we swore to never part.
When you loved me…
As I loved you…
We laughed as days rolled by.
When you held me…
As I held you…
I thought love would never die.

But your love died…
As my love grew…
And time has healed your heart.
Where once you touched me…
Now all is empty…
How my life just fell apart.
Do you think of me?
As I think of you…
As our lives drift slowly on.
How I loved you…
How I love you…
How strange that your love has gone.
