Tsunami Tstrikes
A coastal village lies in naivete
Darkness reigns this December day
Earthquake on ocean floor
spills deluge upon awaiting shore
Underwater thousands scream
voices carried down the stream
bodies soaked and thrashed around
carried off from stable ground
People gasping for their breath
in the clutch of watery death
Struggling against waves so crushing
constantly in thier mouths water's rushing
Terror, pleading with all mind's might
begging to end this aquatic fright.
Finally they're all struck dumb
to the darkness they succumb.
