Through Rose Colored Glasses

Has anyone seen my rose colored glasses?
I’ve lost them and without them this world
seems dull and gray.  I don’t think I can go
on without them this way.

Life through my rose colored glasses was
so satisfying each and everyday, but
now they are forever lost and life seems
to be just one meaningless, colorless place
that I’m trapped in and for now condemned
to stay.

This rock  continues to circle the sun and
somehow I manage to hang on, but without my
rose colored glasses all seem to be lost,
all seems to be gone.
