"My Pardon"
I received my "Pardon" today
Wasn't as hard as I thought
Didn't have to pay anything
It was given to me, on the spot
Didn't have to beg and plead
I only spoke.... From my heart
Nothing else, was needed now
In a new direction, I would start
No waiting on the President
The decision wasn't his to make
It's from the one who died for me
So I'd be free to....Partake
Partake of the love he has for me
With eternal life through Salvation
Understanding.... "He" is the way
Fills me with indescribable elation
Yes, I received my Pardon today
I am free.... Like a bird soaring by
Spending day's worshiping my Lord
My wonderful Savior...on high!
