Binding Wisdom from God

Proverbs 4:1-13

Give ear to a father for to have knowledge,
As I profess to you don't let it discourage;
For I had a father and a very loving mother,
Along with a sister, but having no brother;
He told me to keep his words in my heart,
So they remain through life for to impart;
Get wisdom for to store deep in your mind,
Never give it up rather love so it'll bind;
It'll keep you safe as it will remain true,
As it lifts you up and gives honor onto you;
Wisdom of God puts a crown on your head,
Full of grace from the glory that's shed.
Let you heart be open to the words as I say,
Long life is yours if righteous all the way;
I am giving you wisdom guiding your steps,
In approaching adulthood giving you preps;
To go continue on the straight and narrow,
When you run that you do not fall to a foe;
Take time for the Lord to honor and laud,
To be rewarded in binding wisdom from God.
