All I Did Not Know

You were so very beautiful...
as i remember,
so very long ago.
I was young and full of fire...
full of all i did not know.
Your eyes sparkled...
as i remember,
I could see the embers glow.
I touched you...
for a moment,
my heart had lost control.

You were so beautiful...
as i remember,
Lips as soft as silk.
I then held you...
for a long time,
life felt so fulfilled.
Then i lost you...
all your beauty,
so very long ago.
I was young...
so full of fire,
full Of all I did not know.
