Poetic-Verses from ATHANASE

Saint Anne (English)

Timeless time in the amber of cypresses,
Summer dressed with myrtle, the breeze with reseda
And the voice of the angel trembling in the silk
Sky that kneels beneath the golden orange groves.

It's You, the exquisite Chosen One, Wife, Life, Key
To whom Eternity joyfully hands
The ring of survival, the seal of the Cross
And the immortality of words sublime and true.

O heart where the tender violet
And the lily of purity flowered, Mother of God,
I beg you from the depth of my mute distress

Fill with light my soul, my life, my vision !
Defend my childlike faith, my body, my hands, my song
From the arrogance of the void, from the agony of nothingness !
