Poetic-Verses from ATHANASE
Life Moves On
Life moves on ! And you are nothing more than the trace of light,
a thin stylus excavating memory,
so welcome me into your eyelids
like a sigh, like a wound in the evening ochre.
A modicum of death! And Hölderlin for life
when all is hushed and our masters are raving,
when remembrance descends onto our beds
and a scream slowly becomes a book.
