The Anew

Luke 12:49-53

Christ has come to cast fire upon the earth,
But whoever believes giving a second birth;
As a fire might even have already been lit,
But a baptism will make you spiritually fit;
Christ waits patiently till all is complete,
For He will not give up or declare defeat;
If you think He comes in promoting peace,
Rather for division in houses to increase;
Where there was one house will be five,
Father against his son in order to survive;
War facing daughter against their mother,
Division in the family, fighting each other.
As is now we are at a crossroads in life,
Toils and tribulations being full of strife;
Moving rapidly at such a very fast pace,
Heated combat and terrorism we face;
For Christ is still waiting for that day,
For to return in showing us the way;
A day not to build rather as to destroy,
Making its way for the anew to deploy.
