Curb Your Tongue

Proverbs 10:18-22

Hate is covered up by the lips of men,
Who refrain from evil again and again;
But whoever speaks evil of another,
Is a fool to his sister and his brother.

For slanderous words show your heart,
The core of your inner self as to impart;
In opening up these gates no end to sin,
Not able to close them then from within.

But he who keeps his mouth shut is wise,
For God has open up wide his heart's eyes;
A tongue of the righteous is made of silver,
But the heart is petty value of an evil doer.

The righteous man is generous with food,
While the foolish man is stingy and rude;
For the blessing of the Lord gives wealth,
With proven hard work gives good health.

Curb your tongue do not put it into gear,
Not until your brain is engaged as sincere;
Curb you tongue while using your brake,
Remembering what to say for God's sake.
