Growing Dim

Look to her light so quickly
For it is slowly growing dim
Once a flame so beautiful
Be but a shadow now within

Life came with breezes blowing
Trust simply removed her hand
Why it left her heart unprotected
Even the wisest fail to understand

Godspeed your warmth to reach her
Before that light fades out in time
This is just another incident
Where pain and a heart collide
