Painted Blue Flowers for her wonder
Set within a vase
Crimson colored roses
That seem so out of place
Ferns a sweet veridian
Babies breath an ivory hue
Yet notice not, she does now
For her eyes are painted blue
Pretty little songbird
Flying way up high
A figure of all beauty
As sun dances in the sky
Feathers bold and vibrant
As if showing them for you
Yet notice not, she does now
For her eyes are painted blue
In the distance be a rain cloud
So proud in its cloak of gray
Thinking that it would be seen
An image of how she feels this day
Not knowing was this rain cloud
That a rainbow would shine through
Yet notice not, she does now
For her eyes are painted blue
