A Companion Named Sorrow

She sits in her darkened room
The walls surround her like a tomb
Tears she cries echo the sound
With only a companion named sorrow around

Such thoughts her mind casts away
Would they notice if she left today
Leaving behind the world and more
Journeying then to heavens door

How selfish would they think her then
To leave behind both family and friend
But not a mourner would be known
In this cruel world she is alone

Fool! she was to carry on
Dreams of future come and gone
There is no hopes for her tomorrow
So she goes with a companion named sorrow
