When we were still without any strength,
God took strides at a very great length;
Christ gave up His life for the sinners,
So everyone else could be the winners.
It is hard for someone to give His life,
Other than alleviating the pain and strife;
Especially for one who is a righteous man,
No matter from God or anyone else's plan.
But God has made it clear about His love,
And sinners' redemption from up above;
As blood flows along the righteous path,
For our salvation prior to God's wrath.
As haters of God His Son gave us peace,
With knowing that we have a new lease;
For now we are in fellowship as friends,
Having salvation after making amends.
Also having joy through Christ our Lord,
By receiving atonement in His accord;
Reconciled, to be rescued from the grave,
For eternity in Heaven my life to save.
