Poetic-Verses

  Thoughts at Sixty

     I have just completed sixty,
     I am nervous and fidgety;
     The future appears rickety.
     I look at the morning sea.
     It is calm,infinite,hushing;
     Waves breaking , thoughts arising.
     The sea was trying to talk;
     Or was it mind's random walk?
     Sunrise, zenith, sunset;
     Life with death beset.
     In a flash, I get a glimpse-
     of the realm beyond horizon.
     Waves are born and they die;
     But the ocean roars for ever.

      In a flash, I get a glimpse-
                                      of the realm beyond horizon;
                                       Waves are born and they die
     I am nervous and fidgety;         But the ocean roars for ever.
     The future appears rickety.
     I look at the morning sea,
     It is calm,infinite,hushing;
     Waves breaking, thoughts rushing.
     The sea was trying to talk;
     Or was it mind's random walk?
     Sunrise, zenith, sunset;
     Life is with death beset.
