Loser can stand Tall

     Oh why is it that-
     The winner takes all?
     And poor losers.
     By the wayside fall.
     In the game of life;
     Winner can't always have a ball.
     Do not be dismayed by defeat;
     It's not an insurmountable wall.
     If you persevere nonetheless;
     You too can stand tall.
     amidst adulation let winner beware;
     Pride often comes before fall.
